SafeNSound Bedside

SafeNSound Bedside manages monitoring devices and patient locations through device and patient scanning, while staying in sync with central monitoring. This process speeds up the process and makes information sharing more accurate.

Admitting a Patient

  1. Log in to SafeNSound.
  2. If not already present select the Bedside Module located in the bottom right corner.

3. Begin scanning the Device barcode.

4. Scan the patient ID Band.

5. Once scanned, confirm the patient details. If the bed location does not automatically populate, the user may select the patient's current bed location by typing in the bed field or use the drop-down menu.

      • Auto Assignment- This assigns the patient to the scanning caregiver in Staff Assignment. If toggled off, the patient will not be assigned to the scanning caregiver and will require assignment manually.
