24hr Bounce Back Volume and Average RI (Last Out & First In)

This graph depicts the frequency of ICU readmissions within 24 hours of a previous discharge to routine or progressive units. It highlights the last valid RI score durin gthe initial ICU stay and the first valid RI score upon return to the ICU. This analysis tracks the trend in bounce-back volume over time, offering insights into the correlation between patient condition and ICU readmissions. Hovering over the graph will highlight the time period providing the total volume of Bounce Backs and Average first RI (return ICU) and last RI (initial ICU).

Percent ICU Bounce Backs of all ICU Admissions

The Percent ICU Bounce Backs of all ICU Admissions graph shows the fluctuation in bounce back rate over time, in relation to the patient's condition (last valid RI score) upon exiting the anchor ICU. It emphasizes the ratio of bounce backs among all transfers into the ICU categorizing the last valid RI score into 5 groupings. Hovering over the graph will highlight the bar graph section providing the bounce back rate and the percentage of the RI group.

24hr Bounce Back Rate by Initial ICU

It focuses on the ratio of bounce backs originating from a particular ICU, calculated as the number of bounce backs from that ICU over the total number of bounce backs. The graph is initially limited to 10 units displayed, allowing for the user to select/deselect the units to graph.
