Stanley Healthcare Device Tracking

The Stanley Healthcare tracking provides real-time location tracking of Stanley Healthcare RTLS devices. By default, the Stanley Healthcare asset tag name is the same name as the Spacelabs device. You can change the asset tag in MobileView to something other than the Spacelabs device name, however that will require you to update the Tag ID for each Spacelabs device in the Administrator area under the Devices list. Supported Asset Tag Naming Format includes the following: only letters, numbers, dash, space, underscore, asterisk, and apostrophe up to 55 characters.

The Stanley Healthcare tracking system sends information through an Event feed that is setup to send to SafeNSound. This feed includes the asset tag and location. We match this information up with the Spacelabs device that the tag is assigned to and display the location for each patient. To get access to Stanley Healthcare click on the Administrator tab and go to the app store. Stanley Healthcare is located under Locations & Tracking.

To configure Stanley Healthcare Mobile View to SafeNSound

1. Log into the Stanley Healthcare Mobile View system
2. Select the cog in the top-right corner and select Administration.
3. Select Events tab
4. Select Location Updates in the left-hand menu.
5. Select Flag icon with the green plus to add a new event.
6. Add an event name, SafeNSound and any notes.
7. Select Next.
8. Leave all the defaults and select Next.
9. Leave all the defaults and select Next.
10. Leave all the defaults and select Next.
11. Select HTTP Post from the Action Type drop-down and enter in the URL, https://xxxx.safensound.io/api/stanley/v1/post replacing the xxxx with your four-digit System Account ID. Contact Spacelabs support at techsupport@spacelabs.com for a username and password. Enter the details that are provided to you and select Next
12. Leave all the defaults and select Finish.

Locations settings

Locations are automatically created as they are received by the Stanley Healthcare MobileView system. 

1. Click on the Stanley Healthcare app.
2. Edit the following information:
   • Location - Default Location of Device or Monitor
   • Color - Color of Icon
   • Icon - Type of Icon
   • Phone Number - Phone Number Associated with Location
   • Reminder - (5, 10, 15, 20, 30 mins, or 1, 2, 4 hours)
   • Active - use the toggle switch to turn the location either on or off
3. Select save when finished.
