ROL Staffing Application

SafeNSound ROL Staffing Application

This feature automatically builds staff assignments from the role (ROL) segment included in an ADT message. You can find ROL Staffing in the app store under Integration. 

ROL Staffing Settings:

1. Click on the ROL Staffing app.
2. Edit the following information:
   
   • HL7 Value - The type of EMR users role in the HL7 message such as RN.
   • HL7 Mapping - The type of SafeNSound users role that you want to map to, such as Primary. 
     • This mapping will allow the assignments to be auto matched in the Staffing area and will allow the My Patients list to reflect the same list of patients. 
3. Select save when finished.

Supported ROL User Types

• Primary - RN, Nurse, etc.
  • Primary only allows a one-to-many relationship. Single user per patient based on role. 
• Secondary - CNA, NA, Nurse Aid, etc.
  • Secondary only allows a one-to-many relationship. Single user per patient based on role. 
• Other - Preceptor, Doctor, Trainer, Nurse Manager, etc
  • Other allows a many-to-one relationship. Multiple users per patient based on role.
• Charge Nurse - Charge Nurse, Nursing Manager, etc.
  • Charge Nurse only allows a one-to-many relationship. Single user per patient based on role.
• House Supervisor - House Supervisor, Nursing Director, etc.
  • House Supervisor only allows a one-to-many relationship. Single user per patient based on role.
• Nurse Station - HUC, etc. 
  • Nurse Station only allows a one-to-many relationship. Single user per patient based on role.
