SafeNSound Dashboard

The dashboard is the primary view and is used to manage patients, alarms, tasks, communication, and notes. Within the dashboard view, each patient’s detailed information can be accessed by clicking on the patient a single time. Several tabs along the left side of the Patient section are used to navigate through the patient’s information and events.

My Numbers

My number displays the following:

  1. Number of Assigned Patients as "My Patients" 
  2. Number of Alarms for Review
  3. Number of Tasks for Review
  4. Number of Unread Messages

Alarms & Tasks

Alarms & Tasks displays the following events:

  1. Pending Saved Events
  2. Alarm Reviews
  3. ICSC Reports for Approval

Selecting any alarm or task will open the alarm for review or saving or the task for review. 

Patient Tree Navigation

The Patients Tree Navigation represents all monitored patients from a facility to individual department level view. Beds and patients are assigned to the monitor technician. The caregivers and physicians are assigned under the Staffing tab.

As a Monitor Technician you can assign patients to yourself by clicking the check box to the right of the patient name or select an entire unit by clicking the check box next to the unit. Now all the patients selected shows on My Patient section.

Caregiver Type

To select your caregiver click the Caregiver Type area and select your caregiver type. After you select your caregiver type you can select any patient to assign them to yourself.

 

Shift Report

Shift Report provides you a printable document for all your patients, rhythm interpretations, notes, and the caregivers associated to them.

  1. To open the Shift Report click on the clipboard icon with a plus in it.  

Patient Navigation 

Patient row elements now direct to different tabs of patient window.
  1. Device Name = Overview
  2. Patient Name = Details
  3. Waveforms = Retro Waveforms
  4. Live Waveform = Live View
  5. Vitals = Vitals
  6. Rhythm Interpretations = Saved Events
  7. 24 hour HR Range = Vitals
  8. Alarm Count = Alarm Review
  9. Alarm bar = Alarms tab
  10. Rothman Index = overview 

Live Waveforms & Vitals 

Waveforms now scale horizontally with zoom and are displayed as a specific color based on feed type.
Waveform & Vitals Colors: 
  • SpO2: blue
  • NIBP: purple
  • ART: red
  • HR: green
  • RR: white/light gray

SAI Alarm Notifications

When enabled, Smart Alarm Interface will send both alarms to your mobile device and to the desktop application if you are logged in at the time of the alarm. 

  1. Select Accept to acknowledge the alarm and stop it from escalating.
  2. Select Decline to have the alarm escalate to another caregiver. 

Standby Waveform Startup 

Live waveforms now auto start and stop on the dashboard when utilizing standby mode on the monitor, with the addition of a message displayed in the patient zone to reflect when the monitor is in standby.
