- Inactive/Pending Devices - Inactive and pending devices are excluded from the device list when admitting a patient in the Bedside view.
- Patient Wristband Settings - Applied settings only processes either letters or numbers for a patient MRN in Mobile Bedside, but not a combination of both.
- Manual Admits - Manual admits to an unmanaged monitor in mobile are now being processed through the web app and errors regarding Device ID have been resolved.
- HL7 Admits - Mobile Bedside now pulls the correct HL7 data for patients on admission.
- Saved Event Measurements - Adding a caliper measurement to a second waveform feed on a Saved Event does not remove the initial calculated measurement values.
- Alarm Filtering - Alarm Filtering now applies to all applicable alarms, even those that have not fully loaded on the page.

SafeNSound™ 5.9.0 only supports XprezzNet™ 2.0.1 (96190) and requires that you upgrade to XprezzNet™ 2.0.1 (96190) before completing the upgrade process of SafeNSound. (Note: No data will flow into SafeNSound if there is a mismatch of SafeNSound and XprezzNet.) It is also recommended that you configure the new servers and have your Spacelabs EIM install and setup XprezzNet 2.0.1 (96190) before moving to SafeNSound 5.9.0. This will reduce your downtime of data streaming into SafeNSound™.

SafeNSound 5.9.0
SafeNSound ™ software version 5.9.0 is a release which includes new features, such as ST caliper measurements, temporary location notifications, and excel download option, as well as minor bug fixes.
SafeNSound software version 5.9.0 supports XprezzNet ™ 2.0.1+ (96190) and requires that you upgrade to XprezzNet v2.0.1+ before completing the upgrade process of SafeNSound.
A 1-hour downtime is required for this update, however this downtime could be extended significantly based on the number of XprezzNet Services your organization uses. Users are forced out and required to log back into SafeNSound once the update has been completed. For enterprise customers, please email devops@spacelabs.com to request to be updated to this latest version.

New Features
- Excel Download Option – You can select between csv or excel file downloads in the following areas: Archive, Daily Rounding Report, Device Tracking Report, Insight Summary Report, Quick Message Report, Voice Call Report, Device Usage Report, All Alarm Reports, All Staffing Reports, All Workflow Reports.
- New ICSC Logic Option - In the SNS App Store Settings, the implemented facility level dropdown allows you the option to choose between the logic operators of AND or OR.
- Unlimited PR & QRS Measurements - Similar to unlimited QT & RR measurements in 5.3.0, the same logic has been implemented for PR & QRS caliper measurements on Saved Events, with the ability to remove all caliper measurements using the X button.
- ST Caliper Measurements - Across multi-lead Saved Events, you can measure ST segments.
- Temporary Location Notification - When a patient's temporary location assignment is updated, a notification is sent to the monitor tech for awareness.
- Edit Saved Events - In addition to rhythm interpretations while in pending state, you can edit Saved Event measurements.

- Staffing Efficiency - In order to improve speed of Staffing page, the following was implemented:
• Removed inactive/pending users from staffing dropdown.

• Converted bed icons to LitVirtualizer component. - Bridge App/Server Events - To improve bridge and app server restarts, Datadog profiling was removed.
- HL7/Data Export Service - In order to further stabilize ActiveMQ service, single cluster per enterprise customer and single cluster for all of community were implemented.
- Rhythm Interpretation Ordering - The RI orders display the most recent first on Dashboard, Overview tab, and Daily Rounding Report, with ability to sort column alphabetically.
- Removed RI from Dashboard - Ability to hover over previously added RI on Dashboard and remove with the click of X, logging the event in Patient Timeline are no longer on the Dashboard.
- Alarms & Tasks Lazy Loading - To improve loading speed utilizing LitElement, lazy loading capabilities on Alarm & Tasks area was implemented.
- Rhythm Interpretation Selection - Resolved bug involving past/current selection of RI in Saved Event resulting in removal from the RI list, preventing re-selection.
- Corrected Call Waiting Tone - Removed call ringing for users on active calls and implemented call waiting tone instead.
- Pacer Spikes Uniformity - Matched pacer spike sizing in LiveView to correspond with Retrospective
waveforms. - Manual Phone Numbers - Phone numbers can be manually typed into the dropdown field. The manually typed numbers are saved and temporarily stored to the database.
- Reload Config Button - Resolved defect with super admin Reload Config button not rendering when clicked.
