SafeNSound™ 5.9.X only supports XprezzNet™ 2.0.1+ (96190) and requires that you upgrade to XprezzNet™ 2.0.1+ (96190) before completing the upgrade process of SafeNSound™. (Note: No data will flow into SafeNSound™ if there is a mismatch of SafeNSound™ and XprezzNet™.)  It is also recommended that you configure the new servers and have your Spacelabs EIM install and setup XprezzNet™ 2.0.1+ (96190) before moving to SafeNSound™ 5.9.0  This will reduce your downtime of data streaming into SafeNSound™. 

 

5.9.8R1: Build 4437

  • Standby-Only -  Resolved defect with XprezzNet that involves a monitor in Standby-Only discharging a patient from the monitor and SafeNSound.

    • Resolved defect involving alarms not consistently combining and being displayed in SafeNSound as a result of a discrepancy in the network time versus local time. 
    • Improved alarm search algorithm when filtering alarms by specific time intervals and added detailed logging to capture additional information.

5.9.7 R1: Build 4361

Fixed

  • Inactive/Pending Devices - Inactive and pending devices have been excluded from the device list when admitting a patient in Bedside.
  • Patient Wristband Settings - Applied settings to only process either letters or numbers for a patient MRN in Mobile Bedside, but not a combination of both.
  • Manual Admits - Manual admits to an unmanaged monitor in mobile are now being processed to the web app and errors regarding Device ID have been resolved.
  • HL7 Admits - Mobile Bedside now properly pulls HL7 data for patients on admission.
  • Saved Event Measurements - Adding a caliper measurement to a second waveform feed on a Saved Event no longer removes the initial calculated measurement values.
  • Alarm Filtering - Alarm Filtering now applies to all applicable alarms, even those that have not fully loaded on the page.

5.9.4: Build 4079

Fixed

  • ADT Message Search - Improved speed of patient ADT search when scanning in Bedside. 
  • End Call Delay - Resolved delayed response when attempting to end a call. 
  • Call Connection Delay - Resolved second delay before call is connected. 
  • Incoming Call Audio - Resolved stacking of call audio files in the Web App when receiving multiple incoming calls at once.
  • Twilio Application Error - Resolved 401 application error occurring on incoming and outbound calls. 
  • Username on Dashboard - Resolved incorrect username displaying on Dashboard. 
  • Server Communication Performance - Internal communication improvements between services, resulting in higher performance.
  • Default Parameter Selection - Default waveform parameters within the Details tab will automatically remain checked in the event leads are disconnected and reconnected to a patient. 
  • Patient Timeline Entries - Erroneous entries related to clearing order message notes will no longer appear in the patient Timeline. 
  • Saved Event Selection - Resolved inability to close Saved Event with X button, if the user double-clicked to open.

  • Device on Standby - Resolved bug involving waveforms and vitals not resuming on devices after being put in Standby for an extended amount of time.   
  • Feed Sync - Improved sync button functionality in Patient Details by automatically restarting waveform feeds upon click. 
  • Unassigned Patient Alarms - Resolved defect involving alarms missing assigned location in the event no patient is admitted to the device. 
  • Quick Message Auto-Decline - Resolved Quick Messages auto-declining in the case that machine detection is disabled and extensions are not utilized.

    • Resolved inability to send Quick Message to phone numbers containing an extension. 
    • Implemented a toggle in the App Store for enabling machine detection. If enabled, the following audible message will be prompted to repeat until key is selected, "This is a SafeNSound Notification. Press 0 to play."
  • Artemis ActiveMQ - Preformed additional optimization to Artemis ActiveMQ configuration.

  • New ICSC Logic Option - Implemented facility level dropdown in the SNS App Store Settings to allow users the option to choose between the logic operators of "AND" or "OR".

  • Unlimited PR & QRS Measurements - Similar to unlimited QT & RR measurements in 5.3.0, the same logic has been implemented for PR & QRS caliper measurements on Saved Events, with the ability to remove all caliper measurements via X button.

  • Edit Saved Events - Implemented ability to edit Saved Event measurements, in addition to rhythm interpretations while in pending state. 

  • Temporary Location Notification - When a patient's temporary location assignment is updated, a notification is sent to the monitor tech for awareness. 
  • ST Caliper Measurements - Ability to measure ST segments across multi-lead Saved Events.

  • Staffing Efficiency - In order to improve speed of Staffing page, the following was implemented:
      • Removed inactive/pending users from staffing dropdown.
      • Removed duplicate database look up for patient. 
      • Converted bed icons to LitVirtualizer component.
  • Bridge App/Server Events - Removed Datadog profiling to improve bridge and app server restarts.
  • HL7/Data Export Service - Implemented single cluster per enterprise customer and single cluster for all of Community, in order to further stabilize ActiveMQ service. 
  • Rhythm Interpretation Ordering - Modified RI ordering to display most recent first on Dashboard, Overview tab, and Daily Rounding Report, with ability to sort column alphabetically. 
  • Remove RI From Dashboard - Ability to hover over previously added RI on Dashboard and remove with the click of X, logging the event in Patient Timeline. 
  • Alarms & Tasks Lazy Loading - Implemented lazy loading capabilities on Alarm & Tasks area to improve loading speed utilizing LitElement. 
  • Rhythm Interpretation Selection - Resolved bug involving past/current selection of RI in Saved Event resulting in removal from the RI list, preventing re-selection. 
  • Corrected Call Waiting Tone - Removed call ringing for users on active calls and implemented call waiting tone instead. 
  • Pacer Spikes Uniformity - Matched pacer spike sizing in LiveView to correspond with Retrospective waveforms. 
  • Manual Phone Numbers - Numbers manually typed into the dropdown field will be saved and  temporarily stored to the database.
  • Reload Config Button - Resolved defect with super admin Reload Config button not rendering when clicked.
